Jett tiredly made his way to the group. He used a little water from his canteen to clean off the paint on his knee. On reaching the group, Jett overheard the plan on the ambush. He didn’t like it, but didn’t have a better plan so kept quiet about it. Jett grinned and looked at Toby through squinted eyes. He had pointed his paintball gun at his crotch! “What’s it worth!” Jett asked daringly. He would have dared pull the trigger, but felt like a little fun all the same.

Jett giggled, “Well for starters, we should run for cover, am I the only one who doesn’t want to stand in the open?” Jett moved to stand next to Richard. He had decided that he would follow his lead.

Richard nodded as he felt a sense of quietness. Someone was watching them. Richard moved to cover close to the door of a car. It was backed close to a wall so he was covered. The car made sure he couldn't get hit. He waited.

Jett saw what Richard was doing so followed suit. Ducking down behind the car and Richard, Jett readied his gun. Feeling nervous, Jett moved a little closer to Richard subconsciously! “This is sure creepy!” Jett whispered “I hate it when you cant see the enemy!”

Jett’s comment may have shown his nerves, but at least his voice was steady. He knew he couldn’t get killed, but the atmosphere played upon his mind. “Do you think we will win this?” Jett asked quietly, he knew if they were to loose, it meant pain!

The dark figure walked towards the boys. As the figure got closer, everyone could see it was Large holding a rather grumpy girl by the scruff of her neck. She was unprotected, with no padding at all, just a pair of glasses from the science classrooms to protect her eyes. Large dropped her on the ground and threw towards her an almost broken paint gun, one of the first ones to ever be bought for the paintball arena. It was nothing compared to what the other boys had.

The girl slowly approached the boys. She introduced herself as Deja. She explained that after injuring her ankle slightly, and only being able to do 3 punishment laps, she had taken the opportunity to play some tricks on large, knowing she'd get off lightly. Unfortunately, Large being who he is, he found another way to punish her. Large had dumped her in the paintball arena with no protection and a practically worthless gun.

Conor felt a little embarrased by Kit running away from him and decided that, for experience, he would have to go it alone. He crouch-walked out of the building he was in and lay prone looking through some shrub at the increasing group of enemys.
'oh dear' he thought. 'How am i meant to take all of these guys out?'
He stood up slowly and ran quickly into a blown-out shed.
Conor thought for a while and then thought
'ill be needing a trap!'
